Our well-established, 30-year professional presence and our reputation for excellence bring us many prospective caregivers each year. When we are introduced to a new prospective caregiver we initiate the CareBest "25-Point Caregiver Screening Process". Many prospective caregivers fail to meet our rigorous screening criteria in the earliest stages and are excluded from further consideration.
Many others make it farther along into the screening process but not quite to "the finish line" and don't make it onto our registry. In the end, only "the best" (about 2 out of every one hundred applicants) meet our criteria and actually make it onto the elite CareBest caregiver registry.

Drug Testing
Once screening is successfully completed, the caregiver is added to the CareBest caregiver registry and we begin referring the caregiver to our client families who have care needs that match the caregiver's capabilities, personality, location and schedule availability.
We monitor, on an ongoing basis, each of our caregiver's professional qualifications and encourage them to maintain up-to-date credentials on file with our agency. Even more importantly, we monitor the actual job performance of each of our registered caregivers via regular communication with our client families and we expect nothing less than the best!

There were three factors that motivated my sister, Ina Wagner, to found this service in 1987:
- Our own family’s experience with debilitating illness and the need for additional care and support even when family and close friends are there to help
- My sister’s personal desire to nurture and care for children
- The God-given caregiver personality and sincere love for people that is uniquely hers
She started by personally serving families from her church as a “roving nanny” for their children and a companion caregiver for their aging parents and their health-challenged family members.
Soon, in order to serve all the families who were requesting her service, she began to transform the business into what it is today: one of the most dedicated, reputable and experienced personal care agencies in Georgia.
My own personal involvement began in the early years in an advisory capacity and in 2001 I assumed a position of ownership and operation. My most trusted advisor is my sister Ina, the founder and the leader whose standards we will always uphold.
